St Stephens, Sneinton

 Add images of rubbings..

beautiful church and church yard in Sneinton. Visited today 30.3.24 after doing a pace eggers trad folk event in the community gardens at lindum grove ( see pace eggers post)

I only had graphite with me and the Chinese calligraphy paper ( the sub standed/ different brand that was not working with the wax and ink technique)

So  did some rubbings of interesting names/ words / patterns.  No plan on this occasion as ot was done on the fly. But a nice process, enjoying the first real warm spring day. Meditative activity while enjoying some time for myself after a difficult few weeks.

I keep returning to the rubbings and traces from the stones. The story will come to me just need to continue the process.

And wished this paper i ordered worked with wax ( I've ordered some of the original paper so will continue with that path when it arrives. Also ordered some copper sheets for embossing- really excited for trying it with the copper)
